60 shops gutted in Delhi's Chandni Chowk market fire

At least 60 shops were gutted in a fire that broke out at Delhi's Chandni Chowk market on Wednesday morning.

12 fire engines are working at the spot trying to control the fire. No casualties were reported due to the fire, Indian media reported.

The fire started at 4.45am in Delhi’s Lajpat Rai market, which is located opposite to the Red Fort.

There was no indication of what caused the fire.

Several videos of the incident went viral on social media.
