Aftab Ameen Poonawala who allegedly murdered his partner Shraddha Walkar at their Delhi apartment and chopped up her body into 35 pieces has meticulously removed all evidence from the house, officials said.
A senior official of the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) team said while trying to lift samples for evidence and DNA matches, Aftab was acting like a hardcore criminal with no remorse, reports Times of India.
“Aftab was way too normal about everything and that narco-analysis would clarify the situation. He had washed the refrigerator with water and chemicals which he had purchased from shops as well as ordered online," said the official.
Most of the evidence lifted by the FSL is needed for DNA matching.

"We did pick up traces of some stains from the kitchen but only after examination can we conclude anything. The crime was committed six months back and the way Aaftab has erased the evidence," said the official.
“Aftab killed Shraddha on the bed and then moved her body to the bathroom where he chopped her into pieces. He has been pointing out locations where the bones can be found. He was totally calm all throughout and at ease."
FSL is examining about 13 bones which were recovered from a drain.
