Energy giant Gazprom said Tuesday its net profit fell by 41 per cent in 2022 as energy exports plummeted due to Western sanctions over Moscow's offensive in Ukraine.
Gazprom's net profit went from 2.093 trillion rubles ($26 billion) in 2021 to 1.226 trillion ($15 billion) last year, Gazprom said in a statement carried by Russian news agencies.
