A fire broke out on Saturday in the World Cup city of Lusail in Qatar, where the Argentina versus Mexico game was scheduled to be played later in the evening.
Quoting officials, The Guardian reports that the blaze broke out in a building under construction in the city, about 3.5km from Lusail Stadium.
Dramatic footage shows the roof of a building on fire near the fan village Qetaifan Island North.
No casualties or injuries were reported by the authorities, who said the Civil Defense controlled the fire in three warehouses in the Umm Al-Amd area.
The blaze comes following a series of infrastructure issues as Qatar spent millions preparing for the World Cup.
