The world's largest coffee chain Starbucks has decided to woo "desi" customers by introducing "masala chai" and "filter coffee" to its menu.
The company has been busy revamping its menu to suit the Indian palate, reports Indian media Hindustan Times.
Starbucks has already added street-style sandwiches and milkshakes, such as "chole paneer kulcha" and "turmeric latte".
The new items on the menu are currently being tested in four markets – Bengaluru, Gurgaon, Bhopal and Indore. The items will be launched countrywide based on the feedback gathered from these cities, Hindustan Times reports.
