ICAB signs MoUs with BUP

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB) has signed two memoranda of understandings (MoUs) with the department of Business Administration in Accounting & Information Systems (AIS) and the department of Business Administration of Faculty of Business Studies (FBS) of Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP).

The MoUs were signed at the university Bijoy Auditorium, Mirpur Cantonment on Thursday, said a media statement.

ICAB President Mahmudul Hasan Khusru, Chairman of AIS Lieutenant Colonel Alauddin Al-Mamun (Retd.), and Chairman of BBA General Lieutenant Colonel Mohammad Yousuf have signed the MoUs.

BUP Vice Chancellor Major General Moshfequr Rahman, Registrar Brigadier General Abdullah Al Mamun, Dean of FBS Brigadier General Moazzem Hossain, ICAB Vice President Abdul Kader Joaddar, CEO Shubhashish Bose, among others, spoke on the occasion.

According to MoUs, students graduated from BUP’s AIS and BBA General departments will get exemption from some papers of chartered accountancy studies.
