FSIB 1st runners-up in Sheikh Hasina Interbank Football Tournament

First Security Islami Bank (FSIB) on Saturday placed first runners-up at the Sheikh Hasina Interbank Football Tournament 2024 by winning the place deciding match 1-0.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina handed over the prize to Syed Waseque Md Ali, Managing Director of the bank, Md Masudur Rahman Shah, Deputy Managing Director, and team management of FSIB at the prize giving ceremony at the Army Stadium in Dhaka, according to a press release.

The programme was presided over by Nazrul Islam Mazumder, Chairman of Bangladesh Association of Banks (BAB).

Among others, Salman F Rahman, Private Industry and Investment Adviser to Prime Minister, Youth and Sports Minister Nazmul Hassan Papon, Chief of Army Staff General Waker-uz-Zaman, Bangladesh Bank Governor Abdur Rouf Talukder and AKM Nurul Fazal Bulbul, Chairman of the Tournament Organising Committee were also present at the programme.

It was the second time of this tournament was organised by the BAB for the bankers. Thirty-one private banks participated in the tournament.
