A visitor was killed as a bus hit a microbus near the toll plaza at Jazira point in the Padma Bridge area on Saturday.
The deceased was identified as Abdul Haque Mollah, 60, of Kishoreganj.
He went to see the Padma Bridge by a microbus. Fifteen other passengers were also injured in the accident.
Police said the accident occurred around 2:45pm, leaving Abdul Haque dead on the spot.

The injured were admitted to Shibchar Upazila Health Complex and Nowdoba Health Centre.
Confirming the news of the accident, Padma Bridge south police station Officer-in-Charge Md Sujan said police seized both the vehicles.
