Most sectors led by insurers, IT and engineering ended lower on Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) on Sunday.
At close, the benchmark DSEX index shed 48.84 points or 0.75 per cent to settle at 6,431.

The Shariah-based DSES index lost 10.66 points or 0.75 per cent to 1,403 while the blue-chip index DS30 dropped 17.73 points or 0.75 per cent to 2,334.
The DSE turnover stood at Tk 636 crore.

Of the issues traded, 53 advanced, 306 declined, and 19 remained unchanged.
