JCI Bangladesh honours 10 youths with TOYP 2021 award

Junior Chamber International (JCI) Bangladesh on Friday honoured 10 youths with Ten Outstanding Young Persons (TOYP) Award 2021 in recognition of their outstanding contributions to society.

The event was organised at a resort in Cox’s Bazar where Information and Broadcasting Minister Hasan Mahmud was present as the chief guest.

Besides, Cox’s Bazar-2 MP Asheq Ullah Rafiq and Cox’s Bazar-3 MP Shaimum Sarwar Kamal joined the ceremony as special guests. JCI Bangladesh President Niaz Morshed Elite presided over the event.

Every year, JCI Bangladesh honours 10 outstanding young people under the age of 40.

The awardees of 2021 are — Barrister Mohammad Iftekhar Jonaed, Tajdin Hassan, Dr Ashikur Rahman, Monir Hosen, Zia Ashraf, Asif Zahir, Engr Mehedi Hasan, Sasheen Masood Hassan, Barrister Sheikh Fazle Nayem, and Al-shahriar Ahmed.

JCI is a global organisation of young leaders aged 18-40 who are dedicated to bringing about a positive change for themselves and the world.

The organisation has more than 1,50,000 active members in 105 countries.
