Robi tops DSE block market

Telecom company Robi witnessed the highest turnover of Tk 16.29 crore in the block market trading of Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) on Monday.

A total of 37.9 lakh shares of the company were exchanged in a single trade on the bourse.

Apart from that, Southeast Bank had the second-highest turnover of Tk 5.16 crore on the day, followed by Phoenix Insurance’s Tk 4.92 crore.

As per the DSE market statistics, a total of 1 crore 39 lakh 31 thousand 31 shares of 56 listed companies, worth Tk 61.8 crore, were exchanged in 109 trades on the prime bourse.

Among the companies traded on the block market, ACI Limited’s trade amounted to Tk 3.15 crore, BRAC Bank’s trade amounted to Tk 3.92 crore, Bangladesh Submarine Cable’s Tk 3.82 crore, Fortune’s Tk 4 crore, Grameenphone’s Tk 4.00 crore, Kattali Textile’s Tk 1.39 crore, Marico’s Tk 1.4 crore, New Line Clothings’ Tk 1.61 crore, Phoenix Finance & Investments’ Tk 1.31 crore, Aman Feed’s Tk 44 lakh, Aramit Cement’s Tk 34 lakh, Asia Pacific Insurance’s Tk 65 lakh, Bangladesh Thai Aluminium’s Tk 84 lakh, Dacca Dyeing’s Tk 25 lakh, EBL NRB Mutual Fund’s Tk 42 lakh, Khulna Power Company’s Tk 70 lakh, and Sonali Paper’s trade amounted to Tk 81 lakh.
