Far Chemical Industries, a listed textile chemical manufacturer, is constructing its second manufacturing unit at Rupganj of Narayanganj.
In a disclosure to the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) on Tuesday, the
company said that it had already started the construction work and
opened letter of credit (L/C) of pre-fabricated steel structure building
factory shade and partial capital machineries.
In 2016, Far Chemical had bought 1.9 acres of land at Rupganj at a cost of Tk 3.39 crore to establish the factory.
The company saw huge profit loss for the third quarter (January-March’21) of FY21 as its profit after tax declined by 86 per cent to stand at Tk 34.63 lakh, which was Tk 2.53 crore in the same period of FY 20.
