Shares worth Tk 30cr traded in block market

Shares of 53 companies were exchanged in 86 trades in the block market of Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) on Tuesday.

A total of 59 lakh 17 thousand 781 shares were exchanged during the day’s trading period, according to the DSE market statistics.

Southeast bank had the highest turnover of Tk 4.36 crore, while HR Textile was on the second position with turnover of Tk 3.36 crore, followed by Renata with turnover of Tk 2.74

crore.

Among the companies traded on the block market, Grameenphone’s trade amounted to Tk 2.27 crore, Arif Industries Limited’s trade amounted to Tk 46 lakh, Aramit Cement’s trade amounted to Tk 34 lakh, BATBC’s Tk 85 lakh, Beacon Pharma’s Tk 11 lakh, Berger Paints’ Tk 14 lakh, Beximco’s Tk 1 crore, BRAC Bank’s Tk 31 lakh, Beximco Pharmaceuticals’ Tk 17 lakh, Capm Bdbl Mutual Fund’s Tk 38 lakh, Central Insurance’s Tk 1 crore, Confidence Cement’s Tk 16 lakh, Continental Insurance’s Tk 10 lakh, Coppertech Industries’ Tk 20 lakh, Emerald Oil Industries’ Tk 26 lakh, Fortune’s Tk 1.66 crore, GBB Power’s Tk 17 lakh, Genex Infosys’ Tk 1.64 crore, Green Delta Insurance’s Tk 67 lakh, HR Textile’s Tk 3.36 crore, Lanka Bangla Finance’s Tk 19 lakh, Malek Spinning’s Tk 31 lakh, Marico’s Tk 83 lakh, Sonali Paper’s Tk 1.9 crore, and Square Pharma’s Tk 1.52 crore.
