UCB approves 10% dividend

The United Commercial Bank has approved 10 per cent dividend -- 5 per cent cash and 5 per cent stock -- for its shareholders for the year ended on December 31, 2020.

The approval came at the 38th annual general meeting (AGM) of the bank held virtually on Thursday, said a press release.

The UCB reported consolidated earnings per share (EPS) of Tk 0.63 for the second quarter (April-June) of the current year. It was Tk 0.40 in the corresponding quarter of previous

year.
