Shares worth Tk 44cr traded in DSE block market

Shares of 61 companies worth Tk 44.80 crore were traded in the block market of the Dhaka Stock Exchange on Tuesday.

A total of 12,098,385 shares were exchanged in 116 trades during the trading session.

Gennex Infosys Limited had the highest turnover of Tk 10.65 crore, followed by Sandhani Insurance and Padma Life Insurance of Tk 6.50 and Tk 3.50 crore respectively.

Among the 58 other companies traded in the block market, Salvo Chemical’s trade amounted to Tk 3.48 crore, EXIM1STMF’s trade amounted to Tk 2.49 crore, Metro Spinning’s Tk 1.43 crore, Uttara Bank’s Tk 1.18 crore, BEXIMCO’s Tk 1.17 crore, SBAC Bank’s Tk 89 lakh, Makson Spinning’s Tk 80 lakh, PTL’s Tk 73 lakh, United Finance’s Tk 72 lakh, and NHFIL’s Tk 70 lakh.

Besides, DBH1STMF’s trade amounted to Tk 67 lakh, SPCL’s Tk 65 lakh, National Polymar’s Tk 63 lakh, Baraka Power’s Tk 54 lakh and Confidence Cement’s trade amounted to Tk 50 lakh.
