Most sectors led by IT, NBFIs, and insurers ended lower on Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) on Monday.
At the end of the day’s trade, the benchmark DSEX index shed 49.08 points or 0.76 per cent to 6,357.

Shariah-based DSES index lost 9.09 points or 0.65 per cent to 1,388, while the blue-chip index DS30 decreased by 15.37 points or 0.66 per cent to 2,314.
The DSE turnover stood at Tk 822 crore.

Of the issues traded, 36 advanced, 325 declined, and 19 remained unchanged.
