IT, telecom and textile stocks ended lower on the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) on Monday.
At the end of the day’s trade, the benchmark index DSEX lost 8.22 points or 0.12 per cent to 6,489.

The Shariah-based index DSES decreased 9.11 points or 0.63 per cent to 1,416. Meanwhile, the blue-chip index DS30 lost 12.46 points or 0.52 per cent to 2,361.
The DSE turnover stood so far at Tk 974 crore.

Of the issues traded, 130 advanced, 209 declined, and 40 remained unchanged.
