Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) falls deeper into red terrain on Wednesday.
At the end of the day’s trade, the benchmark DSEX index shed 78.04 points or 1.24 per cent to 6,180.
Shariah-based DSES index lost 13.81 points or 1.00 per cent to 1,354, while the blue-chip index DS30 decreased by 26.64 points or 1.19 per cent to 2,210.

The DSE turnover stood at Tk 789 crore.
Of the issues traded, 26 advanced, 279 declined, and 74 remained unchanged.
