Dhaka stocks closed marginally higher on Thursday after the volatile trade.
At the end of the day’s trading, the benchmark DSEX index added 16 points or 0.22 per cent to settle at 7,105.
Shariah-based DSES index dropped 0.75 point or 0.04 per cent to 1,508 while the blue-chip index DS30 rose 18 points or 0.69 per cent to 2,635.
The DSE turnover stood at Tk 1,601 crore.
Of the issues traded, 162 advanced, 174 declined, and 42 remained unchanged.
