Shares of 33 listed companies worth Tk 74.75 crore were traded on the Dhaka Stock Exchange block market on Tuesday.
National Life Insurance had the highest turnover of Tk 40.56 crore in the block trading. A total of 1 crore 90 lakh 22 thousand 637 shares of the company were exchanged in 67 trades during the trading period.
Among other companies traded on the block market, Southeast Bank had the second-highest turnover of Tk 13.84 crore and VAMLBDMF1 had the third-highest turnover of Tk 7.15 crore.
Besides, Sonali Paper’s trade amounted to Tk 3.46 crore, Kattali Textile’s trade amounted to Tk 1.59 crore, Meghna Petroleum’s trade amounted to Tk 1.15 crore, Eastern Bank’s trade amounted to Tk 99 lakh, eGeneration’s Tk 86 lakh while Western Marine Shipyard’s trade amounted to Tk 65 lakh.
BD Finance’s trade amounted to Tk 21 lakh, Berger Paint’s Tk 53 lakh, Saif Power’s Tk 52 lakh, Silco Pharmaceuticals’ Tk 53 lakh, Premier Cement’s Tk 38 lakh, Bashundhara Paper’s trade amounted to Tk 23 lakh, Coppertech’s Tk 21 lakh, GBB Power’s Tk 31 lakh, Genex Infosys’ Tk 18 lakh, National Feed’s Tk 24 lakh, Standard Insurance’s Tk 13 lakh, Trust Bank’s Tk 13 lakh, Islamic Finance’s trade amounted to Tk 12 lakh and Malek Spinning Mill’s trade amounted to Tk 11 lakh.
