Dhaka stocks closed flat amid volatility on Monday as the lower volume of trade continued.
At the end of the day’s trading, the benchmark DSEX index rose 12.9 points or 0.18 per cent to 6,978.
Shariah-based DSES index increased by 3.6 points or 0.24 per cent to 1,464, while the blue-chip index DS30 lost 3 points or 0.13 per cent to 2634.
The DSE turnover stood at Tk 8,871 crore.
Stocks of 371 companies were traded, of which 218 gained in value, 118 declined and 35 remained unchanged.
