Dhaka stocks open flat on Monday after closing higher on the previous session.
However, the trading remains volatile--the trend seen in recent days.
In the first 40 minutes of the trade, the benchmark DSEX index rose 4.45 points or 0.06 per cent to 6,970.
Shariah-based DSES index increased by 1.42 points or 0.09 per cent to 1,462, while the blue-chip index DS30 lost 4 points or 0.16 per cent to 2634.
