Dhaka stocks gained for the second straight session on Sunday.
However, the volatility continued as some investors were cautious about recent market related conflicting news.
At the end of the day’s trading, the benchmark DSEX index added 24.04 points or 0.34 per cent to 6,960.
Shariah-based DSES index gained 2.15 points or 0.14 per cent to 1,461 while the blue-chip index DS30 also gained 2.31 points or 0.08 per cent to 2,638.
