Popular singer Porshi, known for her Eid drama appearances surprised fans with a new song titled "Ei Duti Chokhe," released just after Eid.
This marks a return for Porshi, who despite announcing bi-monthly releases on her YouTube channel, hadn't released new music since her collaboration "Ore Mon" with Arfin Rumey last year.
"Ei Duti Chokhe" features lyrics by Sudip Kumar Dip and music by ZooEL Morshed. A rap segment by GM Ashraf adds another layer to the song, while the bridge incorporates the classic Bengali song "Ajke Nahoy Bhalobasho" for a touch of nostalgia.
The accompanying music video, directed by Sohel Raaz, takes a surprising turn. Porshi portrays a bank robber targeted by an undercover police officer played by Imran Ahmed Saudagar. The storyline takes a romantic twist as the characters fall in love amidst the heist. However, duty prevails, and the video concludes with Porshi's arrest.
Commenting on the new release, Porshi said, "The song was created with the audience's preferences in mind. Nowadays, music is both an auditory and visual experience. That's why the music video tells a story. I hope everyone enjoys it.”
