Linde Bangladesh Limited has announced robust financial results for the first quarter of 2024, showcasing a significant improvement in its earnings per share (EPS) and net asset value per share (NAVPS).

For the January-March period of 2024, the company reported an EPS of Tk 11.50, a notable increase from Tk 9.22 recorded in the same period of 2023.

This 24.74 per cent rise in EPS has been attributed to a combination of higher sales and improved gross margins, although partially offset by increased operating expenses.

The company’s net operating cash flow per share (NOCFPS) for Q1 of 2024 stood at Tk 34.59, slightly down from Tk 37.53 in the corresponding period of the previous year.

This decline reflects changes in the company's cash flow dynamics during the quarter.

Linde Bangladesh also reported an increase in its NAVPS, which reached Tk 398.34 as of March 31, 2024, up from Tk 386.84 as of December 31, 2023. This improvement is primarily due to the profits earned during the first quarter.
