23 more martyrs families get financial assistance from Jamaat 

Twenty-three more family members of martyrs who were killed during the anti-discrimination student movement, have received financial assistance from Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami.

Patuakhali district Jamaat-e-Islami organized a views exchange meeting and doa mahfil with the families of the martyrs at District Shilpakala Auditorium on Saturday morning.

Under the chairmanship of the Ameer of the District Jamaat Prof. Muhammad Shahalam and moderated by Deputy Amir KM Maqbul Hossain, Central Assistant Secretary advocate Moazzem Hossain Helal was present as the chief guest.

Later, the chief guest handed over a total of 46 lakh to 23 martyr families in the second phase.

Earlier, Jamaat-e-Islami gifted Tk 22 lakh to 22 martyr families of Patuakhali district.
