The central bank has appointed Md Zakir Hossain Chowdhury and Dr Md Kabir Ahmed as two new deputy governors of the organisation. Both have been serving as executive directors of the Bangladesh Bank.
A Financial Institutions Division circular was issued in this regard on Sunday, adding that the appointments were made under the Bangladesh Bank Order, 1972 Article 10(4).
