An added-time right footer from Bhutan striker Kinga Wangchuk sealed the second and the final FIFA friendly match for his side as they beat Bangladesh 1-0 at the Changlimithang Stadium in Thimphu, Bhutan on Sunday.

Md Saad Uddin gave away a free kick just outside the box in the 90th minute of the match while defending a Bhutanese counterattack. Kelzang Dorji sent the ball in which found Topu Barman’s head, but the defender failed to clear the threat. Wangchuk found the ball amid all the chaos inside the box and sent the ball in past Mitul Marma with a strong right footer.

After conceding the goal, Bangladesh went all attacking, but Bhutan's defenders did well to maintain their lead till the final whistle and finished the series on a high note.

This was Bhutan’s third win in the last seven international matches.

Earlier in the match, Bangladesh forwards Shahariar Emon and Sheikh Morsalin missed a couple of chances which in the end cost them the game. Captain Jamal Bhuyan sent in a through pass for Emon, who faltered in the first touch and gave away the ball.

However, Bangladesh defenders did well to keep the Bhutanese attackers away till the 90th minute.

Bangladesh had finally returned to the winning streak in international football with a solitary goal victory against host Bhutan in the first match, courtesy of the lone goal by promising forward Sheikh Morsalin.

Despite playing high altitude in the first match at Changlimithang Stadium, the boys in red and green were prowess taking sixth minute lead and they maintained it till last whistle.
